Weekly Reliquary

Not every 365 project has to take place on a daily basis. My friend Tere Hernández-Bonét is a fantastic jeweler here in Richmond, Virginia who was looking for a way to inspire her own creativity in the midst of a very busy schedule. She decided on creating a Weekly Reliquary over the course of a year and give herself more time to put towards each piece...

See all of Tere's reliquaries on her blog HERE.

I didn't even know what a reliquary was; I had to look it up!

After looking through your blog, I just got inspired to start a 365 day challenge. Instead of making something, though, I'm going to break a routine every day.

Today's routine breaker: Instead of waiting for New Year's Day, the traditional day for starting new things, I'm picking TODAY, December 18, to start my challenge.

Wow, so happy to inspire you! And what a great project idea. If you choose to document your year online definitely send a link so I can share it here!

I'm not going to have a separate website or anything, but I'll have an occasional update on my blog. (I'll link after I have a post about it.)

Today: Hmmm, I think I'm going to put my watch on the opposite wrist upside-down. I don't have any pressing appointments today, so nothing horrible will happen if I don't read it correctly. But I do tend to compulsively check my watch.

Cool, I'm enjoying hearing what you're doing and I'm sure others would as well!

Officially on day 4 of my 365 Day Routine Breaking challenge. I just put up the 2nd post about it on my blog: http://dragonmamma-dragoncave.blogspot.com/

If I have any more days like day 2, I may change my mind and decide that it's easier to create a work of art every day!

Ha! I think it's off to a rollicking start. It's great to discover that some routines are harder to break than others. I hope you'll keep posting and send me an official submission so I can post about it here!
